After years of professional sales and real estate investing its time to switch gears. I spent years burning the candle at both ends & lighting it with a flame thrower as I was in the import fastener business buying in the Orient and selling hard nosed construction customers while concurrently buying & operating mobile home parks so I got lied to,threatened and cheated for a living. :) I have the newspaper clippings,trophies,pictures and W-2's to support all the wacky stories! Gerry Rafferty sang in the song "Baker Street" a stanza " I had a dream about buying some land,give up the booze and the one night stands,then I'll settle down in a quiet little town and forget about everything". That's me! I became a Vegan three years ago and spend my life now eliminating energy vampires in my life. I have been selling off my real estate holdings in five states and remodeling my farm to get ready for retirement. I have gas wells on my farm so staying warm would never be an issue as I have 9 fireplaces. I have included some pictures of my farm and my projects so you can see I am not just a wannabe ...... My beard makes me look like a local but I have more the Mr. Douglas from Green Acres background. (I don't sound like I look) I am born and raised in New Jersey (South Jersey so I don't talk like the Soprano's) and lived for years in Pittsburgh and Atlanta before moving to West Virginia. Ray Liota in the movie "Good fellows" said the definition of the Witness Protection Program was "moving to a zip code without ethnic food" - welcome to West Virginia! I am liberal of heart but conservative of mind. I speak a smattering of eight languages so I can fit into most ethnic and cultural situations. I was a Hall of Fame Captain of my college wrestling team and played on championship football teams so the injuries of my youth greet me every daily.All this being said you will find me a down to earth easy to speak to person. I split my time between 247 acres in the West Virginia mountains and have a summer home in Rehoboth Beach Delaware where I stay often from May thru October but can rent my home and move for the right person!
